MSMS To Appear Live on WABG in Greenville
A representative of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science will be a featured guest on WABG's morning news program tomorrow morning.
Coordinator for Alumni and Public Relations, Wade Leonard, will appear on the Greenville, Mississippi news show on the morning of Wednesday, February 18, to promote the upcoming MSMS Traveling Science Carnival.
"We want to help get the students at Riverside and O'Bannon Elementary Schools excited about what we have in store for them," said Leonard. "We also think appearing on the show will be a good way to inform the local community of our presence in the area."
The Traveling Science Carnival is an iteration of MSMS's popular Science Carnival project. Hundreds of elementary students from Riverside and O'Bannon Elementary schools will take part in several fun and engaging demonstrations of science and the scientific method. More than 50 MSMS students, faculty, and staff members will run the carnival. The event is planned to take place on Friday, Feb. 20 at Riverside Elementary School in Washington County.
