To celebrate MSMS being named one of the top 100 high schools in America, MSMS students and faculty took part in several fun activities on Thursday, September 18. The students competed in ping-pong and Mario Kart 8 races, but by far the most entertaining event was a Human Chess match pitting MSMS students vs. MSMS faculty. While chessmaster and MSMS English instructor Dr. Scott Curtis seemed to have the match wrapped up (near the end of the game the students only had a handful of pawns left on the board), he graciously accepted an offer of a draw from the students.
