When is it offered: Fall and spring semesters

Who can take it: Juniors who do not already have credit for Trigonometry, Advanced Math Plus, or an equivalent course

Prerequisites: Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II

Why take this course: Trigonometry is an in-depth study of the three basic trigonometric functions- sine, cosine, and tangent- and their inverses. The course prepares students to use these functions in both calculus and physics applications. Along with Foundations, it completes the study of the concepts tested on the ACT.
