Analytical Chemistry (Seniors)

This course is designed to introduce the student to the methods used in the quantitative analysis of chemical compounds. This includes classical gravimetric and volumetric methods as well as modern methods such as spectroscopy and chromatography. The course also includes a brief overview of statistical methods used in data analysis. The class is primarily lab-based, but does include some out-of-class work. The class is a senior level course and is offered in the fall semester.

Prerequisite: 1 year MSMS Chemistry; minimum grade B
Credit: ½ (chemistry)
Length: 1 semester
