MSMS Coordinator for Alumni and Public Relations, Wade Leonard, has been tasked with the job of putting together a coherent history of the school.
“We wanted to put something together that was more dynamic than a simple written document,” said Leonard. “So it was decided that we would try to make a documentary about MSMS, it’s history, and why the school is so important and unique.”
Leonard plans to spend the next several weeks and months interviewing alumni, current and former faculty and staff, and those members of the brain trust that created the school who are still living.
“It looks like we are going to end up with hours and hours of interviews,” said Leonard. “Rather than sit on them while I complete the documentary, I thought it would be nice to share the highlights of the interviews I conduct as I produce them.”
Leonard first interviewed Shannon Eubanks, a member of the MSMS Class of 1990, who served as principal of Enterprise Attendance Center for more than a decade.
