RVR is a partnership between the Mississippi Writing/Thinking Institute and Mississippi Public Broadcasting (MPB). "Rural Voices Radio is a unique way to share the voices of Mississippi students and teachers," stated Sherry Swain, Director of the Mississippi State University field office of the National Writing Project and coordinator of Rural Voices Radio. "It is a catalyst for building a renewed awareness of the importance of authentic audiences for Mississippi students."
