Junior Move-In Day 2015

On Saturday, August 1, 2015 the MSMS Class of 2017 moved into the residence halls for the first time. Beginning bright and early that morning, 130 students from all corners of the state of Mississippi began their journey toward excellence.

Parents and students were pleasantly surprised to discover that the MSMS Emissaries were ready for them. These student ambassadors spent the morning unloading their new juniors' luggage and welcoming to their new home.

"This is amazing," said one parent. "I didn't expect curbside service!"

The new junior class will spend the next several days undergoing a series of orientation activities designed to acclimate them to their new home, the academic standards expected of them, and help bring the students together as a cohesive class.

On Tuesday, August 4, the senior class will also return. Classes will begin the following Thursday.
