MSMS Students Recognized by Columbus-Lowndes Chamber of Commerce

On April 15th the Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2014-2015 Education Awards Program. Seven MSMS students were recognized for their academic excellence this year. 

Kimya Jamasbi, from Belden, Mississippi, received the award for Outstanding Senior and also received the LINK Scholarship for being Overall Outstanding Senior.

The Highest GPA Awards went to MSMS junior, Joy Carino, from Starkville, Mississippi, and MSMS senior Katie Shy, from Cleveland, Mississippi.

Corporate scholarships were awarded to four MSMS students.

Hayley White, a senior from Taylorsville, Mississippi, received a scholarship from 4-County Electric Power

India Yarborough, a senior from Columbus, Mississippi, received a scholarship from Children's Health Center of Columbus.

Miya Snell, a senior from Crawford, Mississippi, received a scholarship from Columbus Spouses' Club.

Jacob Sheward, a senior from Columbus, Mississippi, received a scholarship from Century 21-Doris Hardy and Association.
