The MSMS Student Environmental Awareness League has been getting some great attention. After putting the finishing touches on their Chimney Swift Tower project, the group was singled out in the Commercial Dispatch’s weekly feature, Roses and Thorns.

The newspaper gave the organization, as well as sponsor Dr. Bill Odom, a rose for the completion of the project. The newspaper said, “We applaud these efforts to help students gain a better appreciation of the natural world, which we agree is a vital part of a well-rounded education.”
