Congratulations MSMS National Merit Semifinalists
Congratulations to the 12 MSMS students who made National Merit Semifinalist status this year! About 1.5 millions students from 22,000 different high schools applied for National Merit and only 16,000 made it to Semifinalist status. MSMS is proud to announce that a dozen of those students can be found right here at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science.

Of the 16,000 Semifinalists chosen this year, about 15,000 are expected to make it to the Finalist round in February. From the pool of Finalists winners of the National Merit Scholarships are chosen.
