Positively Medieval

At the Mississippi School of Mathematics and Science summer enrichment camp, students are able to learn about the medieval era, in the class Positively Medieval.

Ranging from the Trojan Horse to siege weapons, the students learn about the technology of the era.

The class is taught by Mrs. Catherine Koehler, better known as Mediva.

“So like yesterday, we made paper-like real paper out of pulp from rags, which is pretty crazy if you think about it. Today we’re building catapults with popsicle sticks,” said Griffin Emerson, a counselor at the camp.
