Math Around the World

Students at the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science Summer Enrichment Camp are going around the world to learn new mathematical concepts. In the class Math Around the World students are challenged to learn different ways to approach problems.

“So far the class goes around a lot of different math techniques taught around the world so today we’re going over an origami thing to teach shapes and precision,” said Jake Bozlee, camp counselor.

Students are conquering these problems by learning about precision, critical thinking, and shapes from origami and puzzles.
