Length: 1 semester


Topics Covered: Audio Amplification, Radio Transmission, Electronic Musical Devices, Data Acquisition Systems, Field Programable Gate Arrays, and Microprocessor Design.

This course is offered to allow students an opportunity to develop expertise in the area of electronics.  Basic theory of analog and digital circuit design will be covered in a lecture format during the first few weeks of the course.  The remainder of the course will consist of long term projects on topics of the student’s choosing.  Possible topics include, but are not limited to: Audio Amplification, Radio Transmission, Electronic Musical Devices, Data Acquisition Systems, Field Programmable Gate Arrays, and Microprocessor Design.
