If you prefer stories that promote wholesome family values, then you might want to stay away from Classical Literature II. The wholesome fare in this course includes a play about a son who is obligated to kill his mother in order to avenge his father's murder. In another play, a woman murders her two young sons to punish her unfaithful husband. And it gets worse. In a famous play, an unfortunate man unknowingly kills his father and marries his mother. When he finds out what he has done, he blinds himself. If these plays sound interesting rather than disgusting, then this course is for you
