MSMS Educator Advocates
All interested educators are encouraged to become Educator Advocates for the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science (MSMS). Educator Advocates are simply educators who are interested in staying informed about the happenings at MSMS and are open to partnership with the school. If you would like to receive regular updates from the school specifically geared towards educators, please click here. By opting into our Educator Advocate newsletter, you will also receive information regarding upcoming recruitment events across the state, summer camp opportunities, and teacher workshops. Additionally, we will share innovative classroom strategies and experiences from our faculty and students.
For roughly thirty years, MSMS has existed as Mississippi’s only public, residential high school specifically designed to meet the needs of the Magnolia State’s most academically gifted students and devoted to STEM education. In addition to our mission of serving Mississippi’s brightest students, MSMS is committed to building lasting partnerships with teachers across the state by providing quality professional development opportunities in the key areas of STEM programs, classroom innovation, and gifted education.
Our Office of Admissions regularly visits high school campuses across the state. If you are interested in having a representative visit your school, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additionally, please let us know if you would like to receive print materials regarding admission to MSMS, summer camp opportunities, or teacher workshops.
If you would like additional information about the MSMS, please visit our website at www.themsms.org, find us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter and Instagram @the_msms.
